It’s important that you and your dog spend time together and enjoy the same kind of exercise. How much you can actually fit into your daily routine?
You must be prepared to take your dog out for a walk or to a dog park for some exercise.
Alternately you must be prepared to pay a dog walking service to do SOME of this for you!
Are you able to spend 30 to 60 minutes daily on walks?
Some breeds are very lively and need a vigorous walking and exercise routine. This includes working dogs and most medium to large breeds.
Others are more laid-back and happy to stroll in the park with you at a leisurely pace.
